Discussion: Aadhaar and Right to Privacy in India @ Delhi NCR

To assess the status of Aadhaar Campaign in India and plan future initiatives to safeguard the right to privacy in India, a Talk Session was held at SpringHouse Gurugram on March 9 2018. Senior Global Policy Manager of Mozilla Jochai Ben along with his colleagues and the members of Mozilla India Community in Delhi discussed the issues and policies surrounding Aadhaar and right to Privacy in India.

The Mozilla Staff members updated the attendees about the position of Mozilla on Aadhaar, what initiatives it has taken and what steps are to be taken in future. The team took feedback and suggestions from the participants and devised a plan to be followed in order to make the Aadhaar and Right to Privacy Campaign in India a success.
Different paths of contribution were devised by the team and tasks were assigned to each attendee present in the meeting.

The 2-hr discussion ended with conclusive remarks from Jochai and other staff members.
